Trades are lacking people that have skills, creativity, and the desire to excel.
While most people look down on trades as an alternative for the kids that aren’t college material, I see it as a great opportunity for people that could be successful in college but desire something more fulfilling.
My most enjoyable experiences in my career have been while working with people who are smarter than me and having the opportunity to harvest knowledge and skills from them.
I got started in the trades just to have a job, but quickly fell in love with the process of building things, the technical creativity required to think outside the box, and the satisfaction of completing a job and having thrilled customers.
