New Instructor: Jason Spurgin

Big Ideas would like to welcome Jason Spurgin to our team! He has been an active carpenter since 1999! His true gift is his ability to connect with young students and new learners. Check out his impressive resume: 2010-present:  Inspection technician City of New Ulm and Courtland.  Building, HVAC, Plumbing, Fire and general building safety inspections 2000-2010:  Drafter at Puhlmann Lumber and Design.  I designed and drafted all of the new homes, additions, garages, etc. for the lumber yard. 1999-2000:  Designer at Lloyd Truss North Mankato.  Designed and engineered roof and floor trusses for residential and light commercial buildings. 1992-1999:  Carpenter for various companies.  Mostly residential projects, some light commercial. 1990-1992:  Carpentry Student Pipestone area Votech.   We look forward to growing as a team, and Jason makes an excellent addition!
